EMG press at Sifan Systems boosts production

A 15 ton mechanical EMG press recently supplied by SMV Presses (UK) Ltd, the Coventry based power press and ancillary equipment manufacturer has very quickly boosted production at Sifan Systems Ltd, Witney, Oxfordshire, of motor bodies for fans used in domestic central heating systems. Press orders for SMV presses

Presses (UK) Ltd, the Coventry based power press and ancillary equipment manufacturer received two orders for EMG pneumatic and mechanical presses. The first order was from Swindon, Wiltshire based Torinsifan, to be installed in their Whitney, Oxford manufacturing facility.

New powerful punch press/laser combination cell

A new sheet metalworking machine that combines 30-tonnes-force hydraulic punching through a 20-station turret and 2.5 kW profiling using a Rofin-Sinar diffusion-cooled CO2 slab-laser has been introduced by Finn-Power. Giving safety a hand

The new power unit with two-hand control from Roemheld has been designed to increase the safety of hydraulically-operated fixtures in workpiece clamping, forming, punching, and pressing. A reworked hydraulic control with 4/3 directional control valve (poppet type) provides more safety in clamping and forming processes with operating pressures up to 500 bar.
