Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. released two new synchronous buck step-down controller ICs designed to operate with external MOSFETs, and a minimum of external components, in dc to dc converter circuits that require output currents upwards of 10 A.

New Vishay siliconix boost converter ICs provide 85 % efficiency at 500 mA down to 1 mA
