ESAB launches a new, intelligent and module-based welding system: The new Aristo System

ESAB Group : 25 June, 2001  (New Product)
The time has come for the launching of a new welding system from ESAB, one of the world's leading manufactures in its field. The new Aristo system is the result of a considerable amount of development work and innovation.
ESAB has an excellent reputation amongst professional users all over the world, and with this new system, ESAB demonstrates innovation and skill once again. Our goal right from the initial design stages was to produce an intelligent and flexible module-based welding system. The user can individually compose the units of this equipment so that they correspond precisely to your MIG/MAG, DC-TIG or MMA requirements. Should your needs change, the equipment can be completed and adapted to the new area of use.

The new Aristo system is the first welding machine with an aluminium chassis of extruded aluminium sections, known as Alutech - a strong, robust and corrosion-proof material that increases the length of life of the equipment. The material can manage tough environments and conditions, and is easy to keep clean. The power-source is built on inverter-based IGBT technology that provides both dependable equipment and superb welding qualities.

The digital CAN-bus communications and control system optimizes flexibility, enabling all units both inside and outside the equipment to communicate with each other. Service and maintenance are aided by the system controlling and registering any disturbances or faults that may arise.

The new Aristo System has a modern and compact design, and is equipped with many practical solutions. A couple of visible examples of ESAB's ambition to provide good ergonomics are the handle and the slanted front panel. There are three series of control panels, which are all easy to understand and to use. The design of the front panel provides both practical and ergonomic advantages. The top of the machine has two large and ergonomically designed handles, integrated into the chassis, and designed to facilitate lifting the machine with a hoist or crane.
