Matrox Graphics, Inc., the leading manufacturer of graphics solutions for professionals, today announced that the company has expanded its business by making certain graphics cores available for third party licensing. Matrox has been designing graphics devices for almost thirty years and has a large portfolio of market-proven graphics technologies including enterprise-class 2D, 3D and video accelerators.

'To date, Matrox has successfully licensed our graphics to multiple customers for deployment in multiple market areas', said Dan Wood, VP Technical Marketing Matrox Graphics Inc., 'With today's announcement, we hope to aid other companies who are looking to integrate proven graphics technology into their products.'

Leveraging it's core business of selling high value graphics boards into a wide variety of professional markets, Matrox is uniquely positioned to offer multiple options, a forward roadmap of GPU technology and broad driver support to third parties looking to add graphics capabilities to various System On a Chip platforms.

'ServerEngines needed a strong provider of enterprise-class graphics to complement our technologies', said Raju Vegesna, CEO of ServerEngines LLC, 'Matrox's product line perfectly matched our needs and the first licensed product will be entering production shortly.'

Matrox will be attending Embedded Systems Conference in San Jose from April 4-6th in booth #5096 and is available for face-to-face discussions and technology demonstrations.
