Calsak Corporation will distribute APA's entire product line, including Alcryn Melt-Processible Rubber and DuraGrip TPE, throughout the western United States, with centralized sales offices in Los Angeles, Seattle, and Houston. The deal provides Calsak a first-time opportunity to directly distribute a thermoplastic elastomer material. 'Adding Calsak Corporation to our distributor network enables APA to tap into their unique regional expertise, including who the key players are, what they require, and overall account knowledge,' said Tom Pugh, commercial business manager for APA. 'Calsak works closely with processors throughout this region and has a track record of strong customer loyalty and satisfaction, which means our MPE product line will be exposed to those who can benefit most from using our materials.'

'Calsak has built its reputation on providing excellent customer service in delivering quality thermoplastic materials throughout the western U.S.,' said Yuji Sakai, business manager, Polymers & Colorants Division of Calsak Corporation. 'Up until this deal was finalized we provided strictly rigid thermoplastics to our customers. With the addition of APA's products, we can add another facet to our existing product lines. We are very excited to form this partnership with APA, which will enable us to support our customers' needs in this growing soft-touch plastic market.'
