New brochure for diecutting rules

Sandvik Coromant UK : 13 December, 2000  (Company News)
A new product brochure showing its range of flat bed and rotary diecutting rules for the paper, board, packaging and printing industries has been issued by Sandvik Steel.
With production units in Sweden, UK, USA and China and worldwide distribution through 60 subsidiaries or dedicated distributors, Sandvik Steel's Strip Division claims to be the world's largest producer and distributor of flat bed and rotary diecutting rules. The product programme includes cutting and creasing rules and a wide range of rules for special packaging and print finishing applications.

The new, 8 page brochure describes all product types and details the wide range of sizes and edge configurations which can be supplied.

Particularly highlighted are Dieflex® cutting rules and rotary rule products. Sandvik Dieflex was the first edge hardened cutting rule to be produced in the industry combining good bendability with high wear resistance. The rotary rule product programme has been developed in partnership with National Steel Rule of America.

A recently launched rotary product is Euro-Cut™ - the first rotary rule specifically designed to meet the needs of European diemakers and diecutters.

Sandvik Steel is a totally integrated steel producer and is therefore able to exercise total manufacturing and quality control from steel making to the finished product. It also means that there is complete manufacturing flexibility. Rules can be produced quickly for particular applications or end uses using stock rules or by special manufacture.

Copies of the new brochure can be obtained from AB Sandvik Steel, Strip Division, SE 811 -81, Sandviken, Sweden, Tel: + 46 26 26 38 15, Fax: + 46 26 26 43 90, Internet www.steel.sandvik.com/dieproducts.
