MATERIALISE OPENS NEW VACUUM CASTING PLANT IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC

Materialise, announces the official opening on June 10th of its new plant in Velke Brezno in the Czech Republic.

The new plant will increase Materialises Polyurethane Vacuum casting capacity by 50% giving us the capability to produce over 45000 high quality vacuum cast parts per year. The new facility makes Materialise the biggest single supplier of vacuum castings in Europe.

This expansion into Central Europe gives Materialise the infrastructure to meet the ever-increasing demands of our customers without compromising our high quality standards and reducing our current lead times.

Josef Dolezal, Plant Manager of Materialise Czech Republic: 'we are pleased to announce the opening of this state of the art Vacuum Casting knowledge centre. After 5 months of training our people in Belgium Materialise now increased its capacity for this technology, ensuring short lead times and quality production. Materialise CR now employs 10 people and we will grow to 25 people by the end of this year, including a dedicated Quality Manager. '
