BOREALIS INCREASES EUROPEAN POLYOLEFINS PRICES BY EUR 100 PER TONNE

| Borealis has increased the price of its polyethylene and polypropylene plastics in Europe by EUR 100 per tonne as of 1 July 2004. |
Borealis has increased the price of its polyethylene and polypropylene plastics in Europe by EUR 100 per tonne as of 1 July 2004. “This price increase is required to restore adequate margins in order to sustain our investments in innovation and technology,” says David Rolph, Executive Vice President, Polyolefins Business Group.
