New ABn Silicone Polyethers from Dow Corning help meet unique formulating needs, simplify product development, and help speed the manufacturing process. Dow Corning Toray FZ-2233 is a very efficient water-in-silicone and water-in-silicone/organic oil emulsifier that produces emulsions with particles as small as one micron. It can be used to produce an emulsion that appears rich and creamy but imparts a light, non-greasy skin feel to color cosmetics, sun care, AP/Deo, and other skin care and hair care products. Dow Corning Toray FZ-2222 is a multifunctional film-former that imparts shine, water-repellency and minimal tackiness for use in color cosmetic, sun care and other personal care applications. The light humectant properties of this material are due to its polyether functionality and can be used to advantage in skin care products. It can also be incorporated in clear underarm sticks, where its ability to enhance glide across the skin is an added benefit.
