MOLYKOTE DEVELOPS NEW SYNTHETIC OILS TO IMPROVE GEARBOX LIFE

Six new full synthetic Molykote extreme pressure gear oils help lower overall maintenance costs by providing superior wear protection plus greater thermal and oxidative stability when compared to conventional oils.

Designed to overcome severe operating conditions such as temperature extremes, shock load or vibration, Molykote L-21XX Series PAO gear oils combine outstanding protection against scuffing and micro-pitting with excellent water separation and corrosion protection. In addition, Molykote L-21XX Series gear oils are formulated with carefully selected additives to inhibit rust and oxidation and suppress foam.

The new L-21XX Series gear oils are available in ISO viscosities of 100 (L-2110), 150 (L-2115), 220 (L-2122), 320 (L-2132), 460 (L-2146), and 680 (L-2168). They are available in 5 gallon (18.9 litre) pails and 55 gallon (208 litre) drums.

All six new gear oils meet or exceed the following standards: Flender, DIN 51 517 Part 3, ANSI/AGMA 9005, U.S. Steel 224, Cincinnati Millicron and David Browne SL.53.101.
