SWRI VALIDATES THREE DOW CORNING BRAND CONSTRUCTION PRODUCTS

| The Sealant, Waterproofing and Restoration Institute, an independent professional organization of over 180 leading commercial contractors, manufacturers and consultants, recently validated the performance of the following Dow Corning products: |
•Dow Corning Contractors Concrete Sealant
•Dow Corning AllGuard Silicone Elastomeric Coating
•Dow Corning 791 Silicone Weatherproofing Sealan CCS is a one-part, moisture-cure, low-modulus silicone sealant that provides durable, flexible, watertight joint seals and offers outstanding unprimed adhesion to masonry. CCS is priced to compete with urethane on low-rise projects. AllGuard Coating is designed to waterproof above-grade exterior masonry substrates, such as concrete block, fluted block, brick, stucco, synthetic stucco, poured concrete, precast concrete, exterior insulation finish systems and previously coated masonry substrates. A one-part, medium-modulus, elastomeric sealant designed for general weathersealing, 791 Sealant is suitable for use on both porous and non-porous substrates. The SWRI validated the sealant for use on glass, anodized aluminum and mortar (when applied in combination with Dow Corning Construction Primer P). “We’re very pleased about these most recent certifications,” said Duane Govitz, market manager for Dow Corning Construction Industries, Americas. “SWRI validation provides independent verification that these Dow Corning products truly provide the outstanding performance and high quality industry professionals need and expect.” In addition to CCS, AllGuard and 791 Sealant, five other Dow Corning sealants also hold SWRI validation: •Dow Corning 756 SMS Building Sealant
