DOW CORNING INTRODUCES E-NEWSLETTER FOR SPECIALTY CHEMICAL MANUFACTURERS

In a move designed to help streamline new materials development and speed time to market, Dow Corning Corporation has announced the launch of an electronic newsletter created specifically for specialty chemical manufacturers. Chemical Manufacturing Solutions will deliver product information, service offerings and information on new technologies to help chemical manufacturers succeed in demanding, fast-paced markets.

The e-newsletter is a component of Dow Corning’s overall focus on helping customers solve problems by meeting their changing business needs to innovate, grow reliably and drive down costs. Each issue will contain news and informative technical details about Dow Corning’s ever-expanding resource of products and solutions.

In each periodic mailing of the e-newsletter, there will be detailed technical information on the physical properties and broad versatility of silicon-based materials. Each issue will also offer the opportunity to order the Specialty Chemical Manufacturers’ Tool Box on CD, which contains a wealth of information on Dow Corning products and services, including product physical properties, performance data and regulatory status, as well as background information and basic training modules for self-study. The tool box contains information on antifoams, silanols, methyl resins, siloxanes and other materials.

In addition, customers can use the e-newsletter to register for Dow Corning Premier status, which delivers 24-hour access to information such as order status, document retrieval, web order entry and account balances.
