Strata Technology Partners, the London-based corporate finance advisory firm, announced today that it has been retained by BTG plc to auction the control over a substantial OLED patent portfolio via an exclusive license with prosecution, sublicensing and litigation rights in the field of information displays. The patent portfolio incorporates fundamental structures, methods, and materials invented by Dr. Arthur Epstein , Director of The Ohio State University Institute for Magnetic and Electronic Polymers and Distinguished University Professor, and his team at The Ohio State University, together with a further development made by scientists at BTG. Sample inventions include the use of transparent cathodes in polymer OLED devices, the deployment of insulating layers between (or mixed with) the organic stack and an electrode, and fabrication based on lamination and screen-printing
