| The graphics card for creative professionals provides advanced multi-display and video output capabilities with Pro Tools applications for an enhanced digital audio editing experience. |
Matrox Graphics Inc., the leading manufacturer of graphics solutions for professionals, is pleased to announce that the Parhelia APVe PCI Express graphics card now enables TV output support with Digidesign Pro Tools systems. This remarkable combination dramatically enhances the user's digital audio editing experience through the Parhelia APVe's Dual-display plus TV output multi-display configuration for its DualHead workspace, and for the previewing of Pro Tools video projects with the QuickTime multimedia player on an SD or HD video monitor. 'The Matrox Parhelia APVe's ability to connect to two displays and a TV or HDTV from a single solution provides an unprecedented platform for Pro Tools users,' says Aboubakeur Nacef, product manager, Matrox Graphics. 'The enhanced desktop real estate grants ample room for Pro Tools' various windows, while simultaneously enabling video previews on an external video monitor for optimal visualization and digital audio workstation efficiency.' Digital audio editors utilizing Pro Tools HD, LE, M-Powered, and Academic applications benefit from an increased onscreen desktop space through the Parhelia APVe's Dual-display plus TV output mode for the spreading of the Midi, instrument, plug-in and tracks windows across the two displays. What's more, the latest Matrox Driver 1.12.02 will permit video projects running in the QuickTime playback engine to be viewed fullscreen on a TV, HDTV or even a third display, via Matrox's PureVideo Preview technology. The Parhelia APVe also supports TripleHead Desktop Mode to generate an ultra-wide desktop across three displays.
