ETON SELECTS GE FOR PRIVATE LABEL CREDIT CARD PROGRAM
The Retail Sales Finance unit of GE Consumer Finance announced today that it has signed a multi-year agreement with ETON America, LLC, for a new consumer credit card program. ETON is a leading manufacturer of all-terrain vehicles and scooters. The new ETON consumer finance program will be available through qualified ETON dealers. ETON currently has 600-plus authorized dealers in the United States. "Partnership with GE is a win-win situation for our customers," said Steve Murph, ETON's Vice President. "Cardholders will have access to frequent promotions and special offers. They also extend their purchasing power without tapping into their other credit cards." ETON America is known for its Viper and Yukon ATVs, and for the Beamer scooter. The company's headquarters is in Spartanburg, South Carolina. "We know the power sports industry very well, so we were delighted that a leading company such as ETON selected us to be their consumer financing partner," said Greg Pierce, vice president of Power Products, GE Consumer Finance's Retail Sales Finance division. "We look forward to working with ETON to provide financing, innovative marketing, and strong customer and dealer support to grow their business and their brand." In addition to scooters and ATVs, ETON also has a line of helmets and accessories that can be purchased with the ETON credit card. "We believe the new credit card program will build awareness of our brand and promote add-on sales," said Murph. "It's really a great tool for our retail partners."
