'He and his talented team have also played a significant role in helping the DIY group transition to a fact-based, customer-focused organization. I am very pleased to see Mike recognized for his accomplishments to date, as well as the expanding importance of the entire category management team,' Freeman added.

Lyman, who attended the University of Dayton, resides in Williamstown, Ky., with his wife, Joyce, a teacher in Northern Kentucky. He reports to Freeman.
