BLACKBURN OF ASHLAND INC. NAMED AUDIT SUPERVISOR
Blackburn joined Ashland Inc. through its Valvoline division as a member of the property accounting department in March 1997. In May 1999, she transferred to the Ashland Inc. internal audit department as a staff auditor, and was promoted to senior auditor in Nov. 2000. A native of Versailles, Ky., Blackburn earned a bachelor's degree in business administration with an accounting emphasis from Transylvania University in 1989. She is a certified public accountant and a certified internal auditor. She is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors. Blackburn is a mentor for Big Brothers/Big Sisters, a certified aerobics and fitness instructor, and a volunteer committee chairperson for Habitat for Humanity.
