LEADING ITALIAN SCREEN PRINTERS WIN FIRST PRIZE WITH AUTOTYPE FILMS
10 December 2003 - Autotype International

The leading Italian screen print company, Serigrafia Formiginese, has won first prize in the Industrial Screen Print category of the prestigious Silver Screen Awards at the recent international Visual Communications 2003 show in Milan.

The award was won through the companys work with Campari, in producing high quality self adhesive PVC and backlit polycarbonate panels used in the launch of Campari Mixx. These large format panels were printed using Capillex CP, developed and manufactured by Autotype, which was the only specifically formulated film for ultra-fine halftone and line printing capable of providing the levels of dot reproduction and sheet to sheet consistency that was jointly required by Serigrafia Formiginese and the marketing team at Campari.

Founded in 1981, Serigrafia Formiginese now employs 25 people at its production site near Modena, has ISO 9001 accreditation and focusses on quality screen printing for customers in the automotive, electronics and high value or technically demanding point of sale and promotions sectors. Chairman, Corrado Bizzini, believes that, Screen printing is an ever evolving technology and we are continually striving to improve the quality, performance and functionality of our production processes. We therefore work closely with key suppliers such as Autotype a relationship that has led to many successful projects, including the recent triumph at the Silver Screen Awards.
