AUTOTYPE LAUNCHES NEW BLUE LINE ADHESIVE
05 September 2001 - Autotype International
| Autotype International is launching a new 2-Part Screen Adhesive for its Blue Line range of screen making products. Designed for the effective bonding of screen printing meshes to frames, the launch is the culmination of two years of rigorous product testing and research. |
The new Blue Line 2-Part Adhesive benefits from fast drying times, excellent solvent resistance and high flexibility that facilitates easy peel off for re-stretching. Such characteristics mean that the Blue Line 2-Part Adhesive gives added versatility and cuts production times. Add to this a seven-hour mixed 'pot life' which means that only one mix is required each day, plus extraordinary tensile strength ensuring high mesh tensions and it becomes clear that Blue Line 2-Part Adhesive is a highly efficient and cost-effective solution. Autotype's Blue Line range is a complete family of mesh preparation chemicals for screen making and screen printing. Formulated to provide maximum performance, ease of use and flexibility for both small and large users alike, all Blue Line products are designed with care of the environment in mind. Simon Jones, Product Manager, Screen Liquids, at Autotype, said: 'We wanted to create a product that was flexible and easy to use within the context of value for money.' 'We carried out two years of extensive development and testing to make sure the Blue Line 2-Part Screen Adhesive was totally reliable. One of the biggest challenges during testing was producing an adhesive, which was suitable for aluminium, steel, painted and wooden frames. We are very proud to have produced an adhesive which is not only suitable for these frame types, but also has a fast drying time and excellent bond strength.'
