AUTOTYPE HOSTS EUROPEAN DELEGATION OF CD MANUFACTURERS
11 June 2001 - Autotype International

Autotype International Limited, the Wantage based manufacturer of specialist films and associated products for screen printing, digital display printing and industrial print applications, recently played host to a delegation of top technicians from some of Europe's largest CD manufacturers.

The delegation spent a day and a half at Autotype's European headquarters in Grove Road, learning about the latest developments in high quality compact disc printing.

The visitors toured the production plant, seeing Autotype's products being manufactured first hand. Specific training sessions were dedicated to Autotype's Capillex photostencil film products, which are used for the production of high quality discs, such as four colour halftone printing and fine line applications. Delegates also had an opportunity to evaluate a new Capillex film to be launched by Autotype in the autumn that promises to give CD printers offset quality with screen printing impact.

'Our Capillex films are being used extensively by compact disc printers in Europe, Asia and the USA,' says David Parker, Screen Films Marketing Manager at Autotype. 'Our product has a reputation synonymous with quality graphics and we were delighted to be able to work with our visitors to help them develop their knowledge and improve the quality of their product.'

Autotype International launched its new interactive website recently at www.autotype.com. The new site offers clients the latest information and support documentation on the entire product range and will shortly be enhanced by a live event facility which will feature on-line training to assist events such as the recent visit by the European CD manufacturers.
