AUTOTYPE PRINT & PEEL BEATS WEAR AND TEAR
16 November 2000 - Autotype International
| Autotype introduces a new and improved Print & Peel - the simple and cost effective method of protecting surfaces from scratches and scuffs. Print & Peel is a water-based printable mask, that can be printed onto a variety of substrates and can then be easily removed when no longer required. |
Print & Peel replaces the conventional lamination films commonly found on plastic fascias, however because it is screen-printable it maximizes ease-of-use, and allows for selective printing on the areas that need to be protected, thus reducing costs and saving time. Protecting products during shipment is often the weak link in the quality chain. Print & Peel protects from scuffs and scratches during processing but just as importantly during delivery to the customer. Print & Peel is suitable for the protection of all Autotype surfaces, polycarbonates, PVC labels and high-gloss graphics. The ideal stencil to use with Print & Peel is Autotype Capillex XR40 or direct emulsion. Print & Peel has been specifically designed in a pale blue to make operators visually aware of its presence. Although Print & Peel adheres exceptionally well to a surface the adhesion of the film to the substrate does not tighten over time and can therefore be removed in a single sheet by picking up an edge, leaving no residue. Autotype is the proud holder of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management accreditation. The Print & Peel system is a water-based, non-hazardous lacquer and therefore continues the Autotype tradition of environmental awareness. Print & Peel is an innovative, versatile product that answers the needs of a quality-conscious marketplace. It is part of the continuous commitment to customer demand that has made Wantage-based Autotype a world leader in industrial films.
