METALFORMING MACHINERY MAKERS’ ASSOCIATION TO SUPPORT REGIONAL EXHIBITIONS

| The Metalforming Machinery Makers Association (MMMA), based in Birmingham,
has agreed to support the ETES Regional Engineering Exhibitions, and as a
first step the MMMA will be staging a members pavilion at the Midlands
Manufacturing show. |
The Metalforming Machinery Makers Association (MMMA), based in Birmingham,
has agreed to support the ETES Regional Engineering Exhibitions, and as a
first step the MMMA will be staging a members pavilion at the Midlands
Manufacturing show. The MMMA pavilion will feature a central hospitality area where members can
entertain their clients. All members exhibiting will have individual company
names on the facia boards and an individual entry in the exhibition
catalogue. The MMMA confidently expects there to be similar pavilions at
other United Kingdom Regional Engineering Exhibitions organised by Etes Ltd This initiative is aimed at helping and encouraging MMMA members to take
part in engineering exhibitions throughout the United Kingdom. David Brotherton, MMMA Secretary said: “This initiative will provide our
members with considerable benefits if they decide to attend these shows
which take place in Birmingham, Bolton, Derby, Newcastle, Cardiff and Thorpe
Park over a period of 12 months. The shows are well attended and the visitor
profile clearly matches the customer profiles of our members. This is the
first time we have promoted regional shows as a benefit to our members,
whose main market is UK manufacturing. We are finding that our members are
now more confident in future business trends and we feel this is a good time
to encourage and sustain this trend. This initiative supports this
confidence.” The MMMA acts as the central organisation promoting the common interests of
its members involved in the manufacture and sale of metalforming machinery
and ancillary products, including tooling in the United Kingdom.
