Morgan Construction Co. will display some of its latest rolling mill and MORGOIL® Bearing equipment at the upcoming 2003 Association of Iron and Steel Engineers (AISE) Exposition to be held in Pittsburgh from September 28-October 1.

Morgan, which will be located in booth 1524, will show and demonstrate a variety of new equipment including its newly developed Axial Roll Mounting unit; a Three-Roller Guide for Bar Sizing Mills; and its new Outboard Twist Delivery Guide. The MORGOIL® division will demonstrate its newest product: the LD™ Lock, which the company noted,' provides a quick, safe and consistent means of locking rolling mill bearings.'

At the Exposition’s Technical Sessions, Asjed Jalil, General Manager Technical Sales, will deliver a technical paper, The China Experience on Incorporating Long Products Technology. Tom Wojtkowski, Director, MORGOIL® Engineering, will serve on a panel entitled Ask the Expert, whose topic will attempt to resolve issues from the audience on mill lubrication in a question and answer session.

Gabriel Royo, V.P., MORGOIL® and Rolling Mill Spares, Installations and Services, who is heading the Morgan delegation, said, 'With more than 90 percent of all rod that is produced in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, made by Morgan-made steel mills, we are North America’s major designer and producer of mill equipment. In addition, our MORGOIL technology continues to improve as demonstrated by our newest KLX Bearing design, improved sealing systems and the LD™ Lock.

'Through the AISE EXPO,” he said, “we want to demonstrate our commitment to continuing our efforts to maintain our leadership role in developing new technical innovations and to provide service solutions that will improve the flexibility, speed and overall production capability of our customer’s mills.”
