DISTRUPOL MAINTAINING ‘LOCAL’ CUSTOMER SUPPORT WITH A NEW ADDITION TO THE UK SALES TEAM
This latest addition to Distrupol’s UK team is a reflection of the company’s continuing policy of growing customer support by increasing its on-the-ground presence in the markets it serves. Tizard joins Distrupol from a sales role with an international engineering company specialized in personnel and environmental protection for the chemical, pharmaceutical and power generation industries. Following graduation Tizard (30), who holds a BSc degree in chemistry from the University of Exeter, was engaged for three years in a European project researching the production of new materials for use in fuel cell and sensor applications. Subsequently he embarked on a sales career in the polymer industry, deploying his skills in customer advisory roles with a particular emphasis technical polymers and flexible materials for the injection moulding and extrusion markets. Commenting on the appointment, Gerry Moore, Managing Director, Distrupol UK, said: “Jeremy Tizard brings with him a solid skills and knowledge base that will be an asset to the UK team and, most importantly, to our customers.
