Fabricated metal tubular components from Carpenter Special Products Corporation (CSPC) offer medical device designers tight tolerances, a variety of fabrication options and a wide range of standard metals and biocompatible alloys.

CSPC metal components are commonly used in handheld medical devices and instruments that cut, clamp, grasp, retract and more.

CSPC's built-to-print tubular components can incorporate a broad range of fabrication possibilities, including laser cutting, end rounding, end closing, flaring, flanging, dimpling, slotting, notching, machining and welding depending on the application.

To speed the time-to-market development cycle, the company's rapid prototyping services enable customers to receive finished parts in days rather than months. Final, ready-to-assemble production quantities can range from one piece to millions of pieces.

Tubular outside diameters can range from 0.015' (0.381mm) to 1.250' (31.75mm), with wall thicknesses from 0.002' (0.051mm) to 0.065' (1.65mm).
