DISTRUPOL SELECTED TO DISTRIBUTE STAMYLAN P POLYPROPYLENE RESINS IN THE NORDIC MARKET

The full range of Stamylan P polypropylene resins manufactured by SABIC is now being distributed throughout the Nordic region by Distrupol.

The new distribution agreement between the two companies has been effective since 1 July 2003. As a result, all Stamylan P homopolymers, block copolymers and random block copolymers are available for immediate delivery from the local Distrupol warehouses in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.

Although the agreement for Stamylan P between Distrupol Nordic and SABIC Nordic came into effect on 1 July 2003 it does not become an exclusive arrangement until 1 January 2004. In the meantime, Stamylan P polypropylene resins will also be available in Norway, Denmark and Sweden through the distribution channels that existed before the Distrupol / SABIC agreement was implemented.

The Stamylan P series incorporates a broad range of polypropylene products able to meet all existing market applications. Strong interest in the Nordic countries, in particular, is expected for its general injection moulding and extrusion grades.
