CONCEPTUAL DESIGN GROUP – NEW CUSTOMER SERVICE

CDG, Conceptual Design Group is a new customer service at SSAB Oxelösund. It supports designers, mainly when it comes to choice of materia.

Focus is design of steel constructions. CDG mostly work with projects initiated by customers, but they also do research to secure the company’s competence in the field of design.

The service is open to all customers who use or are interested in either HARDOX®, WELDOX® or ARMOX®. Thanks to this service SSAB Oxelösund is able to give improved service to our customers and better understand their future needs.

Today CDG consists of persons who are experts in different areas such as conceptual design, bending and cold forming, FEM-analysis, fatigue, fracture mechanics, stress corrosion cracking (SCC) and application development. When needed, other experts are also involved in the projects.
