LANDO FERRETTI JOINS VANTICO

| Lando Ferretti has been appointed Chief Executive of Vantico’s Adhesives & Tooling
Division with effect from 15 September 2001, succeeding John Beadsmoore who is
retiring at the end of the year. |

The Adhesives & Tooling Division is a global leader in developing and providing engineering adhesives and plastic tooling solutions under the Araldite and RenShape Solutions brands, used by designers and manufacturing engineers across a range of industries. “I’m delighted to be joining Vantico and look forward to contributing to the continued growth of this dynamic business,” said Lando Ferretti. “With some of the best known brands in the manufacturing world, supported by a global sales network and highly motivated, committed staff at every level of the business, I believe our future success as one of the major players in this market is ensured. “ Lando comes to Vantico having spent the last 14 years with General Electric’s Plastics and Lighting divisions where he held senior positions in marketing, product management and in sales and business development. Prior to GE and Vantico, Lando worked in management consultancy, primarily with the Boston Consulting Group, specialising in the field of value-added creation. An engineering graduate of La Sapienza University in Rome and INSEAD at Fontainebleau, Lando is an Italian national now based in London. He is 41 years old and married with two children.
