KURT INTRODUCES ADJUSTABLE SEE-THROUGH COOLANT SHIELD FOR 6 AND 8 INCH VISES CALL 1-800-328-2565 FOR FREE DATA SHEET
21 March 2005 - Kurt Manufacturing Company

A new adjustable coolant shield for Kurt Vises protects the operator from coolant spray. Called the Kurt Koolant Shield™, this vise accessory easily installs and sets up in seconds on any 6 or 8 inch Kurt vise.

A better alternative to makeshift coolant shields that provide only partial coolant protection and containment, a supply of these Kurt Koolant Shields is a must for every shop.

Transparent so the operator can see the workpiece easily, the Kurt Koolant Shield keeps coolant within a confined area to avoid coolant waste and to make cleanup easier.

Sides adjust from 0 to 230° to accommodate tight setups and for use in a series on a multiple vise setup.

The Kurt Koolant Shield mounts on either the movable or stationary jaw. The quick setup feature allows the operator workpiece access so as not to slow part load/unload operations.

Made from durable polycarbonate, the Koolant Shield has high strength and rigidity with good chemical and abrasion resistance. Lightweight and economical, mounting screws are included along with 'T' slot cleaner. (Mounting screws have a hex for fast and easy jaw plate bolt removal).
