partnership with Hereford College of Technology in training the next
generation of welders. |
Eutectic is now able to supply colleges throughout the country not only with various ranges of market-leading equipment, but also comprehensive training guides and course notes in an easy-to-use format including wall charts in a dedicated 'College Pack' created especially for Welding learning centres throughout the UK and Ireland. 'When the Rural Crafts centre first opened in May 2000, Eutectic assisted the Welding division by fully equipping the purpose built workshops with state of the art equipment', comments course leader Arfon Jones. 'This included twelve 350A MIG sets, twelve MMA inverter machines, six TIG units, two plasma cutting machines as well as spot welding stations, profile cutters, hand cutting torches and all consumables.' It is a partnership that continues to grow with Eutectic promoting its products, services and expertise while sponsoring numerous college events, providing demonstrations, advice and staff training; all while continuing to supply competitively priced goods that enable the College to provide the very best equipment and technologies to its students. Courses offered include City & Guilds from introductory and basic to Level 3 and Advanced Welding & Fabrication as well as NVQ and ABC qualifications.
