NEW BROCHURE HIGHLIGHTS WIDE RANGE OF APPLICATIONS FOR POLYASPARTIC ALIPHATIC COATING TECHNOLOGY FROM BAYER POLYMERS
15 February 2004 - Bayer MaterialScience AG
| A new brochure is now available from Bayer Polymers highlighting its polyaspartic aliphatic coating technology. The full-color, 24-page brochure reviews the basic polyaspartic technology, and highlights specific case studies.
|
The brochure explains that polyaspartic coatings offer many benefits over previous coating methods including shorter cure time, increased film build, good weathering characteristics and excellent corrosion protection. It also presents case studies in which polyaspartic coatings have provided better protection at reduced cost to bridges, poles, tunnels, floors and rail cars. 'The polyaspartic aliphatic coating technology will allow one to re-think how painting operations are carried out,' explains Carl Angeloff, Manager, Market Development-Construction Coatings for Bayer. 'It will allow excellent, thicker coatings to be applied with fewer coats, which means a faster return to service, while using standard spray equipment,' Angeloff added.
