BAYER CORPORATION'S POLYURETHANES DIVISION RECOGNIZES CROZIER-NELSON SALES AS DISTRIBUTOR OF THE YEAR
19 July 2002 - Bayer MaterialScience AG

Crozier-Nelson earned the award based on a number of factors, including increased sales activity and volume, new business generation and excellent communication, according to Flo Pippin, Manager of Distributor Sales for Bayer's Polyurethanes Division.

'Crozier-Nelson is a valued distribution partner,' said Pippin. 'This award recognizes their impressive accomplishments despite the challenging business environment.'

Crozier-Nelson Vice President Robert Blackford describes the award as a very significant milestone for the company, which distributes Bayer's polyurethane products in Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.

'It is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our sales team, customer service, operations and administration,' said Blackford. 'Bayer has assembled an outstanding group of specialty distributors, so winning this award means that we have been measured against the best and that is very gratifying.'

Blackford also credits Bayer for creating a positive, supportive environment for its distributor partners. 'Bayer's distributor program is outstanding in all respects - communication, technical support, product promotion and logistics,' explained Blackford.

This support enables Crozier-Nelson to do what it does best: focus on its customers. 'We've been working with Crozier-Nelson for some time now and we are very pleased with their products and service,' said Scott Neff, President of Sun Engineering, a Tulsa, Okla.-based manufacturer of pipeline equipment.
