NEW NICK FALDO LASERLINE TEES MADE OF BAYER'S MAKROLON® POLYCARBONATE PROVIDE GOLFERS WITH BETTER BALL CONTACT, TRAJECTORY AND STROKE RATE
19 June 2002 - Bayer MaterialScience AG

Spirit of Golf, the exclusive Bally Golf licensee, introduced the Laserline Tee to the United States market at this year's Orlando Golf Fair.

'The new tees meet two important criteria for golfers,' said Nick Faldo after conducting his own extensive tests. 'First, the tee's design can help improve a golfer's game. Secondly, the tees are more durable than tees made of traditional materials like wood and they are also completely recyclable.'

In addition to sports-related applications like the Laserline Tee, Bayer's Makrolon polycarbonate is designed for use in electrical/electronic components, optical memory discs, office equipment, household and consumer appliances, water bottles, medical equipment, ophthalmic lenses and automotive parts.
