BAYER PLASTICS INTRODUCES NEW GRADE OF FLAME RETARDANT MAKROFOL® POLYCARBONATE FILM

Makrofol DPF 5026, with a flammability1 rating of UL94 V-0, is available in thicknesses ranging from 0.010 to 0.020 inches with a velvet first surface and a fine matte second surface.

'The unique combination of excellent flame resistance, high light transmission, and a low yellowness index, makes Makrofol DPF 5026 a suitable product for trade show displays, nameplates, signs and labels, as well as electrical insulation,' said Dr. Shu Liu, product development specialist, Bayer Plastics.
