The brochure describes properties of injection molding and film extrusion grades of Durethan resin, as well as the methods and procedures that should be followed when working with these polyamide resin grades. In addition, the properties and procedures guide provides useful information about Bayer's technical support capabilities. Durethan resins exhibit high impact strength, thermal stability and dynamic load capacity. They also provide excellent processibility and proven abrasion, wear and chemical resistance. These versatile engineering thermoplastics are used in a variety of applications, such as automotive (from exterior parts to under-the-hood), lawn and garden equipment, and sports equipment.
