BAYER PLASTICS LAUNCHES ONLINE TECHNICAL CENTER

Bayer Plastics today launched its new online Plastics Technical Center. Located at http://www.bayerplastics.com/, the site allows users to view and download product, application, processing, and design information on Bayer Plastics' wide range of material solutions.

The new easy-to- navigate site is part of Bayer Plastics' overall initiative to provide the most useful supplier information available to the plastics industry.

Within the site, users can view information specifically on Bayer Plastics' NAFTA business and its solutions offering. This includes:

Product data sheets for Bayer's broad range of plastics.
Data for computer modeling, both single- and multi-point.
Profiles and photos of successful customer applications.
Thorough art and mold design guidance.
Easily-accessible troubleshooting information for avoiding or resolving processing problems.

Brochures on a wide range of engineering, design, processing and material topics.
A link to BayerONE, Bayer Corporation's e-business portal for purchasing Bayer polymers and chemicals, and managing account information.

Over the next few months, BayerPlastics.com will continue to introduce new features, enhanced search tools, hundreds of winning applications, and even more technical information.

The Plastics Division of Bayer Corporation offers a broad range of engineering polymers, sheet and film, which is designed for demanding applications in numerous industries. In addition to the 1,100 compositions containing polycarbonate resin now supplied by the company, Bayer Corporation markets two families of polycarbonate blends and one family of high- heat polycarbonate resins.
