DUPONT PACKAGING INTRODUCES NEXT GENERATION "JUST IN TIME", ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY CYREL®FAST PLATING SYSTEM

Building on the proprietary DuPont thermal mass transfer technology that has significantly impacted the flexo industry, DuPont Packaging Graphics is introducing the next generation of the revolutionary DuPont™ Cyrel®FAST system - the Cyrel®FAST TD4260.

The newest member of the Cyrel®FAST family of products intended for large format users and has been developed with the needs of the tradeshop and wide web converter in mind.

The Cyrel®FAST TD4260 allows the production of finished plates of up to 42 inches by 60 inches (1067mm by 1524mm) in under an hour, making it the ideal just-in-time platemaking system for a market that demands quick turnaround at the highest possible quality.

As with all elements of the Cyrel®FAST system, it is environmentally friendly with no solvents to handle, store or recycle. And since DuPont takes responsibility for the used developer rolls, waste disposal is minimized. In addition, the new design saves space and requires no expensive plateroom construction.

Like its small format predecessor, the Cyrel®FAST 1000TD, the TD4260 delivers outstanding plate quality and uniformity. Cyrel®FAST digital plates have demonstrated outstanding print quality, approaching and even exceeding that seen by offset and gravure. Cyrel®FAST digital plates reduce make-ready, come up to color quicker, and print consistently throughout the run.
