ADVANTECH UNVEILS A NEW FRONT-END ACCESS INDUSTRIAL CONTROL PC

Advantech, a leading industrial ePlatform provider, announces the release of the Advantech industrial control PC- the ATM 4000 Series. The ATM- 4023, a brand-new front-end access and wiring industrial computing chassis platform, is a trailer-made flagship computing platform for Test and Measurement Market.

With a built-in 6.4" TFT LCD screen, 10 membranes & function keys, special hidden storage devices, a 265mm depth short chassis, and supporting various boards such as Compact PCI, VXI, ISA and PCI, the ATM-4023 will be an optimal computing platform for manifold Automated Test Equipment applications, laboratory test & measurement equipment, field service & maintenance, transportation controlling/detecting equipment, and power & telecom control cabinet.

With three-in-one 4U height IPC chassis, slot-in drawer with optional keyboard and touch pad, and hidden optional Hard disk, Floppy disk and CD-ROM storage devices, the ATM-4023 is suitable for space conscious environment and Test & Measurement application. Its Left F1 to F5 function keys let operators run five different macro-instructions without keying many words, its right 5 cursor keys quickly assist users in moving their targets. The ATM-4023 provides 8 slots or PCI or ISA half size backplane, and its front wiring supports varied CompactPCI, VXI or PXI boards. Programmers or field engineers can simply plug and install without turning to the back of rack or machine. Compared to traditional front-end access platform, the ATM-4023 has numerous communication ports and alternative storage devices, and the nature of the industrial PC architecture is open and more cost-effective. It also provides versatile mounting selection to fit manifold industrial applications; desktoprubber stand for laboratory, hand-carrier belt for field operator and military application, wallmount bracket for control cabinet, and front rackmount bracket for 19" standard industrial rack in factory.
