The Advantech VBOX is an industrial-grade DVR product for the industrial automation market, capable of integrating HMI/SCADA industrial automation applications to expand the eAutomation scope.

The Advantech VBOX utilizes the ubiquitous IP protocol to allow users to access real-time video display via a network PC located anywhere over the Ethernet. Its powerful remote surveillance capability integrates multiple proprietary networks into a single cost-effective Ethernet network architecture, providing users the flexibility to remotely manage industrial environments via the web browser.

The Advantech VBOX provides seamless integration with industrial automation application software. It enables managers to view on a single screen the most current status of equipments, machines, controllers, sensors, and actuators on the factory floor. From the screen, they can detect and improve the health and safety in an industrial environment. Therefore, the integration of control, video, and audio information into one SCADA system is quite significant in industrial automation applications.
