Advantech is introducing the PPC-L126T-CE, a high-performance, fanless panel PC which supports embedded Windows CE.NET and is ideal for use in low noise operating environments and clean room applications.

With a 12.1" TFT LCD display (an analogue resistive touchscreen is available as an option) the system also offers excellent support to users for multimedia applications. It comes equipped with a low-power VIA Eden 667MHz processor, which uses a VIA Twister chip with integrated Savage4 2D/3D video acceleration, north bridge chips featuring an integrated 4xAGP VGA/LCD interface and up to 32MB frame buffer. A built-in CD-ROM, an IDE HDD interface and 3D audio is also featured in addition to compliance with the AC97 standard.

The panel PC offers cost-effective, ultra-low power consumption and has two power sources, an AC power supply and an optional battery pack which charges when the PC is connected to the AC power adapter. The battery pack has more than 60 minutes of battery life and can be used as a UPS during unexpected loss of power.

A removable front bezel simplifies the maintenance of the LCD and touchscreen, and the system supports one Type I /II CompactFlash storage disk. The screen has a viewing angle of 90 degrees (minimum) and luminance of 200 Cd/m².
