BACKPLANE DTOS SERVICES IN AKDC

At Advantech's Kunshan design center, we are dedicated to improving our backplane DTOS service. Our engineering service is characterized by our ability to provide conceptual design, schematic capture and PCB layouts. We can also fabricate and test engineering samples for functionality and compatibility, finally customers receive an engineering sample with User's notes. If customers desire, we can also provide system assembly services such as special component sourcing, pricing and stocking.

To assist our backplane DTOS customers, we've made a number of changes:

Demo Backplane: We design backplanes to include all connectors that we are currently using. It's called a Demo Backplane. With it, the communication between sales and customers will become easier and clearer. Customer can select the components they want to use on their DTOS backplane. This will save our customers and sales, time and money.

Specification Sheet: We've also redesigned our specification sheet to make it mistake free. Sometimes writing specification sheets are not simple enough. Vertical connectors can be mistaken for horizontal ones and customers often don't notice the difference until engineering samples are made. Time and effort has to be spent correcting such small errors. AKDC has made up a backplane specification sheet which showns all connectors in a graphic image to eliminate this type of design error. Sales can assist customers populate the specification sheet before the project kicks off.

Early Bird Reward Scheme: To encourage customers to try our backplane DTOS service, we will announce an early bird reward scheme. If customers can provide finalized specifications before 30 November. We will provide one demo backplane free of charge and cut our NRE by 30%.

In addition, AKMC have prepared safe, plentiful stock of key backplane components. This will help us deliverthe engineering samples on time. All of these efforts are intended to improve the quality of our Backplane DTOS Service, and make the communication between our customers and sales more convenient and efficient.
