Honeywell today introduced three new models in its family of line voltage thermostats. The LineVoltPROTM 8000 7-Day Programmable Thermostat, LineVoltPROTM 7000 Digital Electric Heat Thermostat and LineVoltPROTM 7000 Non-Programmable Thermostat offer high-precision electronic control for electronic baseboards, convectors, radiant heating and fan-forced heaters. These line voltage thermostats are among the most advanced electric heating thermostats on the market. The LineVoltPRO 8000 7-Day Programmable Thermostat ensures total comfort by minimizing temperature swings. It is soundproofed for quiet application and features an on/off switch, which enables thermostat shutdown at the end of the heating season for added security. Its on-demand backlight makes the display easy to read in any lighting condition and electric temperature control ensures precision of +/- 1° F. Its early start function guarantees the programmed temperature will be reached by the programmed time. Maintaining the pre-set program schedule can result in significant energy savings, and pre-sets can be modified and overridden for different lifestyles. The LineVoltPRO 7000 Digital Electric Heat Thermostat features on-demand backlighting with a heating indicator for at-a-glance confirmation of heating, and its electronic temperature control maintains precise comfort levels. The LineVoltPRO 7000 Non-Programmable Thermostat is designed for easy temperature setting with a single-control dial. Its hidden adjustable temperature locks limit maximum and minimum setpoints. Both of these non-programmable thermostats can help save customers up to 10 percent on their heating bills.
