Akzo Nobel Car Refinishes introduces a non-sanding Spot Sealer that works directly on metal, making small repair jobs easier, faster and more cost-effective, while delivering a high quality finish. This new 1K spray-on product is offered next to the existing Spot Primer aerosol product range. Sikkens Spot Primer and Sikkens Spot Sealer Direct-to-Metal have been developed to make small spot repairs on virtually any surface easier and faster to carry out. Both are convenient, with no mixing or cleaning required. They are highly cost-effective as paint waste is reduced and time saved. "The Sikkens Spot Primer is ideal for small areas, such as sanded-through spots" says Nathalie Frey, Product Manager Sikkens. "It is also available in a range of colors that includes white, black, grey, red, yellow, green and blue. It only needs two or three coats to achieve a superior finish, and because the flash-off time between coats is just a few minutes, this product is a real time-saver." Product manager Nathalie Frey is just as enthusiastic about the new Sikkens Spot Sealer Direct-to-Metal. "This product has an excellent flow and good adhesion to metal substrates" she says. "You can apply it directly to most metals and existing finishes. When it comes to convenience, this product is virtually unparalleled."
