| Akzo Nobel Car Refinishes has introduced Lesonal Basecoat SB, a new, advanced solvent borne basecoat, making it easier for bodyshops to achieve a perfect paint finish. Developed from the latest pigment dispersion technology, the new Lesonal Basecoat SB outperforms the existing Lesonal 1K Basecoat. Thousands of solid, metallic and pearl colors can be mixed with outstanding accuracy from a minimum number of tinters, thereby eliminating the need for manual tinting. |
Akzo Nobel Car Refinishes has introduced Lesonal Basecoat SB, a new, advanced solvent borne basecoat, making it easier for bodyshops to achieve a perfect paint finish. Developed from the latest pigment dispersion technology, the new Lesonal Basecoat SB outperforms the existing Lesonal 1K Basecoat. Thousands of solid, metallic and pearl colors can be mixed with outstanding accuracy from a minimum number of tinters, thereby eliminating the need for manual tinting. In market tests, users cited ease of application as a top feature of the new Lesonal Basecoat SB. Market tests also revealed that Lesonal Basecoat SB provided good coverage helping to reduce labor time and speed up throughput "Due to its easy application and an excellent flow, achieving a perfect, flawless finish is remarkably effortless with the new Lesonal basecoat," explains Jeanette Scholder, Global Product Manager of Lesonal. "This means that switching to the new product requires very little training." "In line with the Lesonal philosophy of providing a good quality, compact and easy-to-use assortment, Lesonal Basecoat SB is fully compatible with existing Lesonal thinners and ancillaries enabling Lesonal customers to use current stocks" adds Jeanette Scholder.
