NEW DEVICES FEATURE 3.0-MM PROFILE, DCR VALUES DOWN TO 1.5 MILLIOHMS

| Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. today announced the addition of a new low-profile, high-current inductor series to its line of high-performing, space- and power-saving inductor solutions for voltage regulator module and dc-to-dc converter applications. Like Vishay Dale IHLP inductors, the new IHLM-2525CZ-01 series features the lowest DCR/µH for its package size - 0.255 in. by 0.270 in. [6.47 mm by 6.86 mm] with a low 0.118 in. [3.0 mm] profile, and excellent operation over a frequency range up to 5 MHz. A molded construction also gives IHLM devices a higher dielectric withstanding voltage that allows for enhanced protection against electrical shock. |

Like Vishay Dale IHLP inductors, the new IHLM-2525CZ-01 series features the lowest DCR/µH for its package size - 0.255 in. by 0.270 in. [6.47 mm by 6.86 mm] with a low 0.118 in. Resistant to moisture, salt, and chemicals, the IHLM-2525CZ-01 performs reliably in automotive applications and other extreme environments. Additional end products in which the IHLM series will used include next-generation mobile communications devices, notebook and desktop computers, and servers. The devices will also be widely used in fixed-telecom power supplies, including point of load and distributed power systems. The IHLM-2525CZ-01 series is specified for saturation currents ranging from 7 A to 60 A and for typical DCR values ranging from 1.5 milliohms to 102 milliohms. It is designed to handle high transient current spikes without saturation. With a 100% lead (Pb)-free composite construction, buzz noise due to magnetostriction is reduced to ultra low levels. The flame retardant encapsulant (UL 94V-0) provides resistance to corrosion and moisture along with a high dielectric rating. The IHLM 2525CZ 01 series offers an operating temperature range of 55 °C to +125 °C and is highly resistant to thermal shock, moisture, mechanical shock, and vibration. Samples and production quantities of the new IHLM 2525CZ 01 low-profile, high-current inductors are available now. Lead time for production quantities is 6 weeks.
