VISHAY INTERTECHNOLOGY TO LAUNCH NEW PRODUCTS
Vishay Intertechnology, Inc, a global leader in the design, manufacture, and marketing of electronic components, will launch new products at the electronica 2000 trade show, to be held November 21 through 24 at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre in Munich, Germany. Electronica 2000, Europe's largest trade show devoted to components and assemblies in electronics, will showcase the products, technologies, and services of approximately 3000 exhibitors from all over the world. Dr. Felix Zandman, Chairman and CEO of Vishay, will hold a press conference at electronica 2000 on November 21, 12:00 noon. Dr. Zandman, in his November 21 presentation, will highlight key market factors, discuss new products and technologies, and outline Vishay's strategic direction. Other key Vishay attendees at electronica 2000 will include Dr. Gerald Paul, President and Chief Operating Officer; Erich Schädlich, Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales; and Glyndwr Smith, Assistant to the CEO and Senior Vice President. The new products to be announced by Vishay at electronica 2000 span the full range of passive components and discrete semiconductors manufactured by Vishay. They represent 60% to 90% of the parts in a typical electronic product. Electronica 2000 provides a unique opportunity for producers of semiconductors, sensors and microsystems, electromechanical components and connectors, passive components, displays, system components, and test and measurement equipment to meet with the companies that distribute and purchase their products. Attendees will include senior management and other personnel from a wide range of companies in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Participating companies include both established market leaders and innovative new comers.
