QUINN PLASTICS LAUNCHES QUINN CAST VISION, A NEW MATERIAL, AIMED AT THE GROWING MARKET FOR AUDIO-VISUAL PRESENTATIONS
Quinn Plastics latest product development is aimed firmly at the audio-visual market. QUINN CAST Vision is a range of materials for projection screens, offering unique properties, which allow projected images to be seen clearly under many varied lighting conditions. The 'vision' range comprises three variants, front, rear and through, each with specific properties for a particular type of projection. Front projection refers to the conventional method where the audience sit between the projector and screen. Rear projection is increasingly popular and allows the use of a projector hidden behind the screen. QUINN CAST vision through offers the possibility for images to be viewed on both sides of the screen simultaneously. This last type of projection may be especially useful in open exhibition or gallery scenarios. Product development manager, Susana Galvan, said, "Our products have outstanding light reflection values, that means that projected images remain distinctively visible under quite high levels of ambient light. It is always better to project images in a darkened room, of course, but there are times when this is not possible. Another benefit is that these new cast acrylic screen products will eliminate much of the risk of damage which can occur to conventional stretched cloth screens." Quinn Plastics developed the new range as a result of requests from the market for an acrylic material that would enable clear, sharp images to be seen from wide viewing angles. QUINN CAST Vision is produced by Quinn Plastics, and is available now along with a full technical support package, detailing sizes, material selection and installation guidelines.
