It also has the flexibility to be used for both normal 2D vertical and weld edge preparation cutting on flat plate. Users therefore no longer need to invest in an extra cutting machines to cover both 2D and 3D - the VBA Wrist covers both. |
The new VBA Wrist Plasma Bevel Cutting Head from Esab Automation is designed for cutting circular parts, dished ends, tubes and pipes. It also has the flexibility to be used for both normal 2D vertical and weld edge preparation cutting on flat plate. Users therefore no longer need to invest in an extra cutting machines to cover both 2D and 3D - the VBA Wrist covers both. The VBA Wrist is a patented bevel head with a fully encapsulated robust design that can be typically fitted to an Esab SUPRAREX cutting machine. Using new special software packages it provides fast adjustment and positioning of the cutting torch to create cutting programs for both 2D and 3D components using the same cutting tool.
