ESABMIG MAGMA OFFERS WIDE RANGING CAPABILITIES

A powerful thyristor controlled power source sits at the heart of the latest ESABMig 630tw MAGMA unit. The 630A unit is designed to support heavy duty MIG/MAG and MMA welding and air-arc gouging, making it an ideal solution for a wide variety of fabrication and production requirements. The unit offers a 100 per cent MIG/MAG duty cycle at 500A.

A powerful thyristor controlled power source sits at the heart of the latest ESABMig 630tw MAGMA unit. The 630A unit is designed to support heavy duty MIG/MAG and MMA welding and air-arc gouging, making it an ideal solution for a wide variety of fabrication and production requirements. The unit offers a 100 per cent MIG/MAG duty cycle at 500A.

Features include stepless voltage control and three inductance outlets for easy optimisation of settings. ESAB-developed software helps to optimise welding performance across a wide range of materials and mains voltage compensation provides stable welding conditions. A built-in water cooler is provided along with ELP, the ESAB LogicPump, which automatically starts when a water-cooled gun is connected to ESAB wire feeds ESABFeed 30-4 or ESABFeed 48-4.

The unit is designed to withstand harsh environments with a galvanised metal casing, which meets IP23 standards. An air filtering system is available as an option for use in dust laden conditions. Transportation of the 268kg device around the workplace is assisted by the strong wheeled undercarriage, lifting eyelets and forklift compatibility.
