SIMPLE PRACTICABILITY IS HALLMARK OF NEW ORIGOARC MACHINES
26 January 2005 - ESAB Group

Go-anywhere welding capability is available with the ESAB OrigoArc 150/200 MMA welding machines. Practicality, reliability and ease of use were key design aims. These have been realised in a sturdily constructed, yet relatively light weight package featuring an IP23 rated enclosure with a solid carrying handle and accurate current setting from the single knob control.

A key feature of the machines is the ability to provide excellent welding performance without recourse to complicated setting up. This is assisted by the inclusion of the ESAB ArcPlusTM feature which provides automatic control of arc conditions.

The machines are suitable for welding a wide range of ferrous metals including cast iron, mild steel and stainless steel. OrigoArc 150 can be used with electrodes up to 3.25 mm while OrigoArc 200 supports welding with electrodes up to 4.0 mm. Both machines are available in package form complete with welding and return cable.

Both are built to operate off a standard 230V mains supply. Clever electronics mean they can be used with extended supply cables to maximise the working range without compromising performance.

A range of accessories is available for the machines, including a shoulder strap to assist transport. OrigoArc 150 weighs 6.9 kg whilst OrigoArc 200 weighs 8.0 kg. Details are incorporated in leaflet XA00122020 available from ESAB.
